The Mission
Hawkins Wilson Legacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to honoring Hawkins Wilson's memory. We work to preserve and uplift his story, connect the past to the present, and empower future generations to uphold human rights and dignity. Through our efforts, we seek to build greater understanding, foster empathy, and encourage action toward a more just and inclusive society where everyone is valued and respected, regardless of race, ethnicity, or background.

Our vision is to empower the next generation of leaders by providing educational opportunities to students who are committed to the values of freedom, justice, and equality. We envision a world where every young person can pursue their dreams and contribute to a society that values and respects the diversity of human experience. Through our scholarships, we seek to cultivate a community of future leaders dedicated to upholding the principles of human rights and dignity and working towards creating a more just and equitable world for all.
